The Journey
Rotational Sunday School Model 9:45—10:45 AM
The Journey is Christian Education for children ages 4 years old to fifth grade. Two teams of adults provide workshop instruction in a rotational model. The Mission of The Journey is to equip children to know the truth, to be faithful followers and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Major Bible stories/concepts are taught through kid-friendly multimedia workshops such as Art, Drama, Music, Games, Cinema, Cooking, Computers and Storytelling. Each six-week rotation focuses on a single theme as the students move to a different workshop each week and the teachers present to the next age group. Each age group is escorted to their weekly workshop by an adult Guide. The children are challenged to memorize scripture and apply its meaning to their lives.
This is Vacation Bible School all year long!
