9:45-10:45 am Sunday Mornings During the Crossroads Hour
Boys Middle School Class: What’s in the Bible for Teens provides the format for this boys class. The study is looking at the Bible from a teen’s perspective and offering application to every day life.
Middle School Girls Class:Faith in Motion is the lesson and theme for this class. Girls will be “Keepin’ It Real” as they identify ways to maintain their Christian identity even as they live in a “pop culture world.”
High School Class: The I.T. study deals with Back to School Issues for High School Students. Topics such as “Being a Christian in a Secular World”, “Gossip”, “Dating”and “Popularity and Peer Pressure” will be addressed.

New Chrysalis Flight Forming
On Labor day weekend (Sept. 4-6) you have a chance to go on Chrysalis flight #18. Chrysalis is the name chosen for the youth and young adult version of The Walk to Emmaus. This three-day spiritual renewal time provides an opportunity for you to learn more about faith, to experience Christian love and support, and to make new faith commitments. The point is to inspire, challenge and equip you for a closer friendship with Christ and for Christian action at home, church, school, and community. The Chrysalis flights #18 Lay Directors, Devra Betts and JJ Johnson and their teams are preparing now for the September 4-6, 2010 flights. Now what we need is Caterpillars! That is where you come in. We need you to look in your communities and sponsor youth and young adults, 15 1/2 to 24 yrs to come and participate in this life changing experience.
Go to the www.snwe.org website to download a Chrysalis application (or open the attachment) and click below to view a great video about Chrysalis that you could show prospective caterpillars. THEN get the applications into Leslie Brinks, Registrar by August 15th. Don't delay..there are only 15 openings for the boys and 20 for the girls.
