When you donate to a charity in the name of a friend or family member, you participate in Alternative Gifting. This gift can be for a holiday, special occasion or a thank you. The Mission Team has designated four mission opportunities for you to use for Alternative Gifting and have provided gift cards explaining each mission. Click on the links to learn about each mission.
Directions for Participating through Green Valley Methodist:
1. Select one of the four mission projects designated:
UMCOR Heifer International Heritage Food Closet GVUMC Benevolence
2. Select a "gift" or designate an amount you want to give to the charity.
3. Make a check out to Green Valley Methodist for that amount. Write the name of the charity on the memo line.
4. Place the check in the offiering plate during a worship service or send into the church office.
5. Select an appropriate card for your friend or family member. Cards available in the main building lobby.
