Adult Music Ministry

Equipping people to share their artistic gifts in ministering to the world. The music ministry touches every area of the church from four-year-old children to senior adults. We seek to help people to develop and use their talents to glorify God, to enhance our worship services and to reach out to our community.

The Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for the 8:15 and 9:45 traditional services, typically 3 out of the 4 Sundays each month during the school year: August to June. Participation in Chancel Choir is encouraged for anyone who enjoys singing praises to God. Being able to read music is not a requirement, and there are openings for all singing parts: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. Chancel Choir is open to anyone of high school age or older. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Sanctuary.

Praise and Worship Team provides musical leadership for the 11:15 service, year round. Participation is open to high school graduates and older. The Music Leadership Team for Sundays is selected by audition.  You need to enjoy singing praises to God and leading people in worship! There are openings for all singing parts: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. Also, there are openings for instrumentalists: Guitar, Bass, Drums, and additional instruments as available.  Rehearsal attendance is required to ensure we present the very best of our ability in leading our worship attendees in song.  Join us on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Sanctuary!

Joyful Bells Handbell Choir plays in services every few months, specifically focused on special Sundays and special events. Joyful Bells is open to anyone who is interested in learning about playing handbells to create music in praise to God. Ability to read music is not required, just a willingness to develop a new skill! Rehearsals are on Sundays from 12:45-1:45pm in the Sanctuary.
